Ladybridge Road

Ladybridge Road is a fairly long, mostly residential road that connects the district centre to the Adswood/Larkhill estate. One of its most prominent features is the seven arches bridge, which carries trains from Manchester to London and Birmingham. Ladybridge Road runs over the Micker Brook river, which is also known as the Ladybrook (possibly giving the road its name).

Although there are many buildings along Ladybridge Road, it has a very rural feel to it. Indeed, it has on it Cheadle Hulme's only remaining farm. Either side of the road near the farm are fields, and of course the river, quite different to the hustle and bustle of Station Road south west.
