Thorn Grove is a residential street situated at the end of Woods Lane, and runs south to join Pingate Lane. In addition to houses, there is a children's play area near the Woods Lane end. Although its main entrance is on Woodstock Avenue, there is an entrance to Thorn Grove Primary School on Thorn Grove, which gave the school its name.
