The Governor's House is located on the corner of Church Road and Ravenoak Road, almost opposite the Church Inn. In addition to a pub, it is also a hotel.

It was built as Oakley Manor in the 19th century, and served as a restaurant and evening entertainment venue. Later it became the Ravenoak Hotel, and in 1998 The Governor's House.
