I also take most of the photos for the website. Ones I do not take are mostly public domain or copyleft pictures, and I link to their source (such as Flickr or Stockport MBC). How is this site made?It's made with MediaWiki (link at the bottom right hand corner), free software that runs the well-known website Wikipedia. After the original installation and various tweaks to the default settings, it's relatively easy to create a new page, or modify old ones. Where do you get all your information from?Mostly from books. Additionally, the library has old newspaper clippings, and of course a photo is worth a thousand words! There is not much on the internet though. Additional information comes from my own knowledge, and that of other people I have spoken to.
