Lane End

Lane End was a hamlet around Station Road and Ramillies Avenue. It is where the first Methodist meetings were held in the late 18th century. The principle building was Millington Hall.

The name "Lane End" lives on, in the school at the end of Ramillies Avenue, Lane End Primary School.
