Hursthead estate

The Hursthead estate is located in the south east of Cheadle Hulme, and parts cross over into Bramhall. It was built in the late 1960s by George Wimpey, over farmland that once was Hursthead Farm. It is served by two schools, Hursthead Infant School and Hursthead Junior School, and several shops located on Fountains Road. It is generally a well-sought after area with higher than average house prices.
