Chapel Walks

Chapel Walks is an old cul-de-sac off Pingate Lane South. It is one of the few roads in Cheadle Hulme that have not been tarmaced. It was once home to Grove Lane Baptist Church, which was moved further north in the 1990s. A farmhouse once stood at the end of it, and was occupied by William Fowden who built the church in 1840.
