Bruntwood Primary School

Bruntwood Primary School was a small primary school located near the end of Conway Road, off Turves Road. It was closed in 2005 due to falling pupil numbers, making the school inadequate. It is one of several schools Stockport council have closed, and will be closing due to falling pupil numbers. Its pupils transferred to Bradshaw Hall Primary School, which was double the size of Bruntwood, and has since been extended further to accommodate the children from Bruntwood.
