Bruntwood Park
From Site
Bruntwood Park is a popular park in the north part of Cheadle Hulme. As well as children's play areas, there are facilities such as orienteering, a golf course, football pitches, a BMX track and in the summer, a bouncy castle. There is also a restaurant, in one of the Victorian conservatories of the hall. In the past, there were animals in a "pets corner", and there is still a lake. It was given a green flag award in 1999, meaning it has very high standards. It is also a Grade B site of biological interest. The park has been open to the public since the 1940s. It occupies a former estate, which included a stud farm. Bruntwood Park is named after Bruntwood Hall, which is in the vicinity.
